These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ForkSnap, a calorie, nutrition and habit tracking app developed by Ryheeme Drysdale ("we," "our," "ForkSnap"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use ForkSnap.
The service
ForkSnap helps you log food, water, weight and gym days, and calculates personalized calorie and macro targets. You can log meals by photo, barcode, search, saved favorites, or by describing what you ate.
ForkSnap is free to download. Using the app's features, including AI food recognition, barcode scanning, calorie and macro tracking, water, weight and gym-day tracking, and progress insights, requires a ForkSnap Premium subscription. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial.
Not medical advice
ForkSnap provides general nutrition and calorie information for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk to a qualified healthcare provider before changing your diet or exercise, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have a history of disordered eating.
Subscriptions & free trials
- ForkSnap Premium is offered as auto-renewable subscriptions: Monthly at $4.99/month or Yearly at $39.99/year, each after a 3-day free trial. Prices may vary by country and are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm your purchase, or when your free trial ends.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- If you start a free trial, you won't be charged until the trial ends. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid being charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription during the trial.
- Manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. We can't issue refunds directly, but you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use ForkSnap.
- Give accurate information when you create your account, and keep your login secure.
- You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.
Your content
The food entries, photos, descriptions and other information you add to ForkSnap are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only as needed to run the app for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse ForkSnap, including by trying to disrupt or overload the service, access other people's data, reverse-engineer the app, or use it for anything unlawful.
Apple App Store
If you downloaded ForkSnap from the App Store, these Terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Your use of the app must also follow the App Store's Usage Rules, and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies alongside these Terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
ForkSnap is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. Nutrition estimates, including those from AI food recognition, barcode lookups and food databases, may be inaccurate. Always use your own judgment, and check labels carefully if you have allergies or need precise nutrition tracking for a medical reason.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForkSnap and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under laws that can't be waived.
Ending these terms
You can stop using ForkSnap and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these Terms.
Changes to these Terms
If we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. Continuing to use ForkSnap after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
