This page explains how to permanently delete your ForkSnap account and the data associated with it, or remove individual entries while keeping your account. ForkSnap is developed by Ryheeme Drysdale.

Option 1: Delete in the app

Have a subscription?Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it first in your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email dryheeme@gmail.com from the address associated with your ForkSnap account and ask for your account to be deleted. We'll verify the request and delete your account within 7 days.

Delete specific data only

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove individual pieces of data:

These changes take effect immediately. If you'd rather make the request by email, contact dryheeme@gmail.com with your account email and what you'd like removed, and we'll handle it within 7 days.

What gets deleted

ForkSnap stores your data in the cloud (via Supabase) so it's available across sessions and devices. Deleting your account is immediate and permanent, with no retention period. It removes from ForkSnap's servers:

Nothing is kept in a "soft-deleted" or backup state. Once you confirm, the data is gone from our database.

Data on your device

ForkSnap also keeps some data on your phone for offline access and speed. Deleting your account removes everything ForkSnap holds on its servers; to clear the copy on your phone too, uninstall the app.
